ALONG BRENTA RIVER
RIVIERA DEL BRENTA
The Brenta Riviera is today a corridor of water framed by a variety of villas. Among these it is possible to visit by appointment the majestic Villa Pisani in Strà, Villa Widmann in Mira and Villa Foscari in Malcontenta, close to Venice.
The province of Vicenza includes a large number of villas of considerable historical and artistic value.
THE FIRST WORLD WAR
Moving further north we reach the Asiago plateau, a world suspended halfway between the Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, which, precisely because of its border position, assumed a role of primary importance during the First World War.
Vicenza can be visited very well on foot thanks to its pedestrianized historic center and flanked by palaces and churches.
