Moving further north we reach the Asiago plateau, a world suspended halfway between the Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, which, precisely because of its border position, assumed a role of primary importance during the First World War.

The old town centre was almost completely rebuilt in the 1920s and today attracts many tourists from all over the Veneto region and the surrounding regions.
